USPS Should Tout Receiving No Tax Dollars During Government Shutdown

Comment: I’ve had more than a few people say they were surprised to see me delivering mail during this government shutdown. They were thinking the Postal Service would be shut down too. I explained to them that the USPS is a self-supporting business that receives no tax dollars from the American public. I was thinking this would be a good time for the USPS to tout its no-tax status or at least state that it’s open for business. Yet, nothing in the USPS Newsroom or anywhere else I’ve seen.
